【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddescribesalaboratorytestmethodformeasuringtheresistanceofmaterialsusedinprotectiveclothingtopenetrationbyblood-bornepathogens.Thistestmethodusesasurrogatemicrobeunderconditionsofcontinuousliquidcontact.Protectiveclothing"pass/fail"determinationsarebasedonthedetectionofviralpenetrationataspecifichydrostaticpressureusingtheISO13994testapparatus.Thistestmethodisnotalwayseffectiveintestingprotectiveclothingmaterialshavingthick,innerlinerswhichreadilyabsorbthechallengefluid.Thistestmethodinvolvesasensitiveassayprocedure.Becauseofthelengthoftimerequiredtocompletethistestmethod,itmightnotbesuitableforuseasamaterialorprotectiveclothingqualitycontrolorassuranceprocedure.
