【摘要】:Thisdocumentspecifiesamethodforthechromatographicdeterminationoftheironchelatedbyeachindividualortho(hydroxy)-ortho(hydroxy)isomerofthechelatingagentso,o-EDDHAando,o-EDDHMAinfertilizerscontainingoneorbothofthesesubstances.Themethodallowstheidentificationandthedeterminationofthetotalconcentrationofwatersolubleironchelatesofthesechelatingagents.Itdoesnotdeterminethefreeformofthechelatingagents.NOTE1ThesubstancesEDDHA(ethylenediaminedi(hydroxyphenyl)aceticacid)andEDDHMA(ethylenediaminedi(hydroxymethylphenyl)aceticacid)existasseveraldifferentisomericforms.Positionalisomersforthehydroxylormethylgroups(inortho,meta,andparapositions)aswellasstereoisomers(mesoanddl-racemicforms)areknown.Bothmesoanddl-racemicformsoftheortho,ortho-EDDHAandortho,ortho-EDDHMAarepositionalisomersforthehydroxylgroupsallowedbytheRegulation(EC)No2003/2003.Sincepara,metaandorthomethylpositionalisomersoftheEDDHMApresentquitesimilarstability,theycouldbegrouped:inthemethodheredescribedthepara,metaandorthomethylpositionalisomersoftheo,o-EDDHMAareconsideredtogether.NOTE2Atpresent,analyticallypurestandardsonlyexistforortho,ortho-EDDHAandortho,ortho-EDDHMA.Allothersubstancesbeingunavailableasastandard,theinfluenceoftheireventualpresenceinthesamples(withrespecttothesensitivityandtheselectivityofthismethod)hasnotbeenstudied.NOTE3Themesoandthedl-racemicformsofo,o-EDDHAando,o-EDDHMAcanbedeterminedseparatelybythismethod.ThisprocedureconcernsECfertilizerscoveredbyRegulation(EC)No2003/2003[5].Itisapplicabletoamassfractionofthemetalchelatedofatleast0,625%.
